DANIELLE'S 11th BIRTHDAY!

I can't believe my baby is 11!  She is growing up WAY too fast!  If the preteen/teenage years are anything like what we've been experiencing lately, we're in for a long ride!!  Heaven help us!  Danielle is a ton of fun to be around.  She is always up to something crazy and she always keeps us laughing!  I don't know where she comes up with some of the stuff she says but she always keeps us entertained, that's for sure!  I couldn't ask for a better helper!  She says "Mom, I need you to teach me to cook and clean so you can just sit around and do nothing all day." Are you kidding me?  I didn't waste any time and I started teaching her to cook that same day!  How lucky am I?  She's the best!  I haven't vacuumed this house once since we moved here.  Her and Kaylon fight over who gets to vacuum!  She'll clean anything and loves doing it!  She even asks to scrub the showers and the bathroom floors!  I better take advantage of it while I can cause I'm not sure how long it will last.

As birthdays go nowadays, they last all week!  To start the celebrations Monday night we went to one of our favorite pizza places, Vito & Nick's, and had cracker crust pizza!  Because Rodger had to work late on her birthday we let her open a few of her gifts that night so she would have something to play with on her actual birthday.  Tuesday we had her favorite meal, mac and cheese, and that night she got to open the rest of her gifts and we had cake and ice cream.  She was excited for all the phone calls she received from our family and was happy to hear from everyone!  One of the things she wanted for her birthday was to go get a pedicure with her mom so that's what we did!  We had a great time and they spoiled us with drinks, chocolate and a pretty toes!  With the money she got from family she wanted to go into Chicago and go to the American Girl Doll store and eat at The Rain Forest Cafe.   Of course we had to go to Sprinkles and get a cupcake!  Yummy!
